XacBank celebrated “Banking on Values Day”
XacBank celebrated “Banking on Values Day” on the 7th of November throughout all of its branches and headquarters.
XacBank is one of nine founding members of the Global Alliance for Banking on Values (GABV). The Global Alliance for Banking on Values is a network of banking leaders from around the world committed to advancing positive change in the banking sector with a collective goal to change the banking system so that it is more transparent, supports economic, social, and environmental sustainability, and is composed of a diverse range of banking institutions serving the real economy.
On this day, employees, clients, and representatives of partner companies of XacBank had an open discussion about compatibility between the bank’s daily work cycle and its vision and value, cooperation with clients and partners, and XacBank’s influence on people’s businesses, livelihood, and regional development.
On the 8th of November, representatives of Cambodian banks and financial institutes visited XacBank in a knowledge sharing mission. The representatives, including members of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Ministry of Environment, Central Bank, Association of Banks, and other organizations of the Kingdom of Cambodia, visited XacBank to learn about XacBank’s “Social and Environmental Risk Management and Sustainable Financing Program” as well as operation of X.A.C. NGO which was founded by XacBank employees. XacBank’s CEO M.Boldoo and team members of Chief Risk Officer Torsten Kleine Buening attended and moderated the meeting. The representatives of Kingdom of Cambodia praised XacBank’s “Social and Environmental Risk Management and Sustainable Financing Program” and mentioned it is necessary for them to learn from the program implementation process.
