XacBank Payment Card Security internationally certified
On January 15, 2017, the PCI Security Standards Council certified Xacbank's payment card system as wholly meeting the international data security standards to bring clients reliable and safe transactions.
XacBank’s payment card processing center fully satisfies international standard of customer and bank information confidentiality. In other words, any XacBank’s card transaction, other banks’ card transactions receiving, transferring, or processing meets internationally approved standards and supports client security and confidentiality.
Mr Bold, CEO of XacBank, said: “By implementing this standard XacBank not only meets information security but also improves physical and non-physical protection. By this we protect our customers from fraud and bring additional advanced services to provide customer satisfaction”.
The PCI Security Standards Council, formed by Visa International, MasterCard Worldwide, American Express, Discover Financial Services, and JCB in 2006; oversees the Payment Card Industry-Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). XacBank is one of the few organizations in Mongolia to be certified and first to pass by first trial. Information secrecy, security, reliability and normal operations are of utmost importance in banking and financial organization. With this in mind, XacBank implemented information security ISO27001 standard in 2014 and built a Data Center that meets international Tier II requirements last year.
