XacBank-nominated for “Transformational Business-2015” award
XacBank has been nominated for the “Transformational Business 2015” award, organized by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and Financial Times (FT), for its Eco Banking service. Collaboration between IFC and FT in global awards initiatives that have highlighted innovative, commercially viable solutions to today’s development challenges.
Six of the best enterprises are nominated for 5 categories where they have shown ground-breaking initiatives that create long-term, transformative solutions to environment, social missions and corporate governance challenges. For 2015, the award attracted 191 entries from 167 organizations; involving projects in total of 140 countries have been nominated. Award is presented in a special dinner event in London on 11th of June.
XacBank pioneered in establishing Eco banking service in Mongolian bank industry in 2009. Since then, XacBank has been investing in energy efficient and renewable energy projects, as well as offering concessional loans to manufacturers, merchants and end-users of products which aim to reduce greenhouse gas emission.
