Floatsuits FAQs

No, our Float Suits should not be treated as life jackets. They’re designed to aid toddlers in learning to swim and not as life-saving devices. You should never leave your child alone in or around water.

The ones on this page are designed for girls in our stunning range of designs. However, we offer sleeved float suits in designs for both boys and girls.

It’s hard to give a set number because we like to change things up at Splash About, so keep an eye out for different prints coming.

The Floatsuit features 16 removable float bars, designed to help your child gain confidence in the water at their own pace. As their swimming skills improve, you can gradually reduce the buoyancy by removing the floats. Start by taking out one float bar from a front pocket and the corresponding bar from the opposite back pocket. Continue this process, always removing two opposite bars at a time until your child is able to swim independently without any support.
