Eric M. Jackson A former Silicon Valley businessman, Eric Jackson managed the marketing operations of PayPal, the world's leading online payment service, and helped turn the company into one of a handful of profitable dot-coms. He earned a degree in economics with honors from Stanford University, during which time he studied Russian history in Moscow, and currently serves on the board of directors of The Stanford Review, a non-profit corporation dedicated to protecting higher education from extreme left-wing ideologies. Prior to joining PayPal, Jackson worked as a financial consultant specializing in corporate turnarounds and litigation. Rod D. Martin Rod Martin is the Center for Cultural Leadership's Senior Fellow in Public Policy and Political Affairs, a Vice President and General Counsel of the National Federation of Republican Assemblies (NFRA), and an attorney and writer from Little Rock, Arkansas. After studying political and economic thought at Cambridge University and serving as the student body president at Baylor Law School, Mr. Martin was Director of Policy Planning and Research for Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee. An outspoken advocate of free market economics, school choice and limited government, his political column "Vanguard of the Revolution" can be found on the Vanguard PAC website. Michael J. New, Ph.D Michael New is a post-doctoral researcher at the Harvard-MIT Data Center and an adjunct scholar at the Cato Institute. He received both a Ph.D. in political science and a Masters Degree in statistics from Stanford University in 2002. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate from Dartmouth College, Dr. New's research interests include structural limitations on government spending, direct democracy, welfare reform, and campaign finance reform. His writings have appeared in such publications as National Review Online, The Weekly Standard, Investor's Business Daily, and The Philadelphia Inquirer. Dr. New is currently writing a book about the aftermath of the 1970s tax revolt that is scheduled for release in early 2005. |

Alec Rawls Alec Rawls is a writer and columnist from the San Francisco Bay Area. He earned an undergraduate degree in economics from Reed College, then entered Stanford University's Ph.D. program in economics where he focused on using economics in combination with moral theory to analyze the ideal structure of liberty. Mr. Rawls previously edited two opinion journals at Stanford and ran for sheriff of Santa Clara County on a pro-gun rights platform. Tara Ross Tara Ross attended Rice University and the University of Texas School of Law. During her time at UT, she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Texas Review of Law & Politics. Following law school, Ms. Ross practiced law briefly before changing careers and becoming a freelance writer. Today, she is a regular columnist for the American Enterprise Online , and her work has been published in several law reviews and newspapers, including The Washington Times, USA Today, the National Law Journal, and the Notre Dame Journal of Legislation. Aman Verjee An entrepreneur with a background in corporate strategy and finance, Aman Verjee is the co-founder and former editor-in-chief of American Thunder, the nation's leading magazine for NASCAR fans. Prior to moving to the San Francisco area to help start that venture, he worked on Wall Street as a bond trader for Lehman Brothers and later did management consulting for McKinsey & Co.
