ths should be split to apply the translations in the branch needing them (the first ones are needed at least in 2.4, maybe even 2.3).

how do you want to handle that @fabpot ? should several PRs be sent ?

Several PRs are quite boring as it should be done in a certain order to avoid conflict. As having "more" translations is not really a problem in earlier version, I tend to think that merging all translations in 2.3 is just fine.

there is a solution to this conflict problems, which is simply creating a main-new-fix branch and then subbranch and open PR's to that new main-new-fix one. Once everything is ready you can open a last PR from the main-new-fix one to main, develop or wherever is your main code, having in mind that in this last step code is ready to be merged.

Just an idea :-)
