PR summary
The PolygonSelector widget can be used to select data by enclosing it on a polygon. There is no way of adding new vertices to the polygon once it's closed. This PR adds this functionality.
For a project, I needed to also add a SplineSelection widget that, instead of using a polygon, uses a B-spline curve. I can also make a PR for that, but it depends on scipy which is not a matplolib dependency.
