I just purchased an HS300 for use with HomeAssistant. I was able to manually provision it using python-kasa, and it works fine with the HomeAssistant integration for a few days at a time, before becoming unresponsive until I cycle the main power switch. I haven’t created a tp-link account, used their app, or ever updated the firmware. The specs from kasa discover are:
