Hi, nice to hear that you've been enjoying the new additions :-) Support for KS240 is still work in progress as it's quite a tricky device when it comes to adding homeassistant support in a nice way, but you can subscribe to updates in home-assistant/core#120070 if you want to follow the progress. |

Not sure if daisy chaining this on here proper etiquette, sorry I'm new to all this. However, I saw it was able to be integrated in the thread you linked. Is there a way I can test those lines of code so I can make the device visible in HA? I don't mind it being added as like 4 different devices and such, just wanna see what the development is looking like. It doesn't have to work or anything I just want to better understand the code and what it does. |

It's fine :-) so if you know (or read ans learn from the home assistant docs) how to run a development setup, you can use If you do that, please let us know about your testing experience as we have been developing it "blind" by only using remote access to a real device. All other feedback is also welcome on that dev branch, as we can still polish before the home assistant beta gets cut and we are hoping we can get the 0.7 bump for that. |

Hi! I've been looking at this repository for a while and the additions its already made to my home is awesome. I'm still having trouble working with the KS240 and adding it to HA as an entity. I've been able to see it in the terminal and get it to clear authentication in the terminal but it never clears authentication in the actual HA device list. Am I missing something or is it a WIP?
this is after i ran kasa --host (IP) --username (my username) --password (my password)
also the current SSID and names and stuff are just temporary as im working out the quirks before I fully integrate my home to HA but i have like 7-8 of these switches and I wanted to see compatibility.

Also sorry if this is a repeat thread but I've been in the rabbit hole and I've been chasing myself in circles so this is a direct call for guidance.
