The VS Code and JetBrains IDE plugins do not show workspace resource in a visible spot. The user needs to dig into the workspace list panel and find and expand their current workspace to see resource usage.
I'd suggest adding CPU, memory, disk usage, and etc to the lower IDE bar near where the tunnel latency is:
This is useful in cases where a user unknowingly saturates one or more resources without realizing. For example: we've had a few users use all of their disk space, only to spend several minutes debugging why everything started breaking.
As an additional consideration: perhaps disk space and mem usage could gently draw attention downwards when they stay maxed. A different text color for the metric?
