Motivation: https://github.com/RustPython/RustPython/actions/runs/16317658934/job/46087349628?pr=5988 failed during the checking that whatsleft.py is not broken stage (due to timeout) and was running normally

Walkthrough

The CI workflow configuration was updated to increase the timeout for "Run rust tests" and "Run snippets and cpython tests" jobs on Windows runners from 40 to 45 minutes. Timeout settings for other operating systems remain unchanged, and no other workflow logic was modified.

Changes

File(s) Change Summary
.github/workflows/ci.yaml Increased Windows job timeouts from 40 to 45 minutes for two jobs.

Poem

In the warren where code hops free,
Our tests now run with more esprit!
Forty-five minutes, Windows, don’t fret—
Your tasks will finish, no timeout yet.
With every tick, our CI grows strong,
Hopping along where builds belong.

Learning: In GitHub Actions workflows for the RustPython project, the maintainer ShaharNaveh prefers to keep workflows simple and doesn't mind if steps fail when the desired state is already achieved (e.g., user already assigned to an issue). Avoid suggesting complex error handling for edge cases they don't consider problematic.

Learning: GitHub Actions supports ternary-like expressions using `&&` and `||` operators in timeout-minutes. The syntax `${{ condition && value_if_true || value_if_false }}` is valid and commonly used, such as `${{ contains(matrix.os, 'windows') && 40 || 30 }}` which evaluates to 40 for Windows runners and 30 for others.

.github/workflows/ci.yaml (2)

116-116: Windows timeout bumped from 40 → 45 min looks reasonable

Adds 12.5 % slack to absorb the recent overrun without affecting other runners.

242-242: Consistent timeout update for snippets job—LGTM

Mirrors the change in the rust-tests job, keeping behaviour uniform across Windows jobs.
